There are various connectors to attach the MicroEtcher to the air supply. It is better to attach a MicroEtcher directly to an air supply rather than handpiece tubing. The higher pressure makes it more efficient (quicker and less powder used) and there is no need to lift the tubing and press the foot control as well as the button on the Microetcher to activate it, Only the button needs to be depressed.

The Quick Disconnect Installation Kit incorporates components that help properly install the MicroEtcher in a dental operatory or a laboratory using the existing air source. The kit consists of a female disconnect with a barbed tee suitable for a 0.25" air line and a separate male connector that is attached to the MicroEtcher tubing.
